The agreement between you and Healthy Bite Chef when you use our app or website and order food from us: what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

Last updated 19 October 2026

1. About us and these terms

Healthy Bite Chef ("HBC", "we", "us") cooks healthy meals in one HBC kitchen and delivers them in Noida. HBC is run by:

These terms are an agreement between you and HBC. They apply when you use the Healthy Bite Chef app for Android or our website, healthybitechef.com, and to every order you place with us. By signing in or placing an order, you accept them, together with our privacy policy, refund & cancellation policy and delivery policy. If you don't agree, please don't use HBC.

2. Who can use HBC

  • You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract under Indian law.
  • HBC is for ordering food for yourself, your family, friends or colleagues. Please don't resell our food.
  • We deliver only within our delivery area in Noida (see our delivery policy).
  • The details you give us must be true and up to date.

3. Your account and OTP

You sign in with your mobile number and a 4-digit one-time password (OTP) that we send to it by SMS. Where available, you can also continue with Google or Facebook.

Never share your OTP. Anyone who has it can sign in as you. HBC staff and riders will never ask for your OTP, whether by phone, message, email or at your door.
  • Keep your phone secure, and log out if you use HBC on a phone you share.
  • Orders placed from your account are treated as yours, unless you've told us someone else is using it.
  • If you lose your phone, change your number, or think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away and we'll help you secure it.

4. Using the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app and website to browse our menu, order food and manage your account, as these terms allow.

We keep improving HBC, so we may update the app, change or remove features, or pause the service for maintenance. We'll try to warn you before planned pauses. You need an internet connection to use the app; any data charges from your mobile network are your own.

6. Prices and your bill

All prices are in Indian rupees (₹). Menu prices don't include GST, which is added in your bill. Before you pay, the app shows your full bill:

The lines in your HBC bill and what each one means
In your billWhat it means
Item total (Subtotal at checkout)The price of your dishes and add-ons
Delivery fee₹39 per order. Free when your item total is ₹499 or more
GST & charges5% GST on your item total, plus a flat ₹5 charge per order
Coupon discountTaken off when a coupon's conditions are met
Rider tipOnly if you add one: ₹20, ₹30 or ₹50, all of it for your rider
TotalWhat you pay. Nothing is added after you place the order

The prices that apply are the ones shown when you place your order. If we ever make an obvious pricing mistake, such as a dish listed at ₹0, we may cancel the order, refund you in full and tell you why.

We provide a GST invoice for every order: by email if you've added your email address, or whenever you ask us for it.

7. Coupons and offers

  • You can use one coupon per order.
  • Each coupon shows its conditions in the app, such as a minimum item total, a maximum discount or an end date. The discount applies only when every condition is met.
  • Some coupons work only when you pay by UPI, for example UPIFEAST. If you choose another payment method, the discount won't apply.
  • Coupons have no cash value, and can't be exchanged, transferred or combined.
  • We may change or end an offer at any time, but never for an order you've already placed.
  • If an offer is misused, for example through fake or multiple accounts, we may cancel the discount, the cashback or the order.

What happens to a coupon when an order is cancelled is explained in our refund policy.

8. HBC Wallet

HBC Wallet holds money you add (top-ups), refunds you choose to take there, and cashback from offers. The app shows your balance, your cashback this month and every transaction.

  • You can use your balance only to pay for HBC orders. It can't be transferred to anyone else, withdrawn as cash or used anywhere else, and it earns no interest.
  • You can add up to ₹10,000 at a time, paid through our payment partner.
  • Top-ups are your money. If you stop using HBC, ask us and we'll refund your unused top-up balance (see our refund policy).
  • Cashback is a reward, not money you paid. You can spend it only on HBC orders, and it can't be refunded or withdrawn. Any conditions, such as a minimum order, are shown with the offer.
  • If we find fraud or misuse on an account, we may freeze its wallet while we look into it.
  • Before you delete your account, use your balance or ask for a refund of your top-ups. A deleted account's wallet can't be recovered.

9. Payments

You can pay by UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm), credit or debit card, HBC Wallet, or cash on delivery.

  • Card and UPI payments are processed by our payment partner, a payment gateway. HBC never sees or stores your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN. A saved card appears only as its bank name and last four digits.
  • Your order is placed only when your payment succeeds. If a payment fails but money leaves your account, it is reversed automatically (see failed or double payments).
  • Cash on delivery: pay your rider the total shown in the app, in cash or by UPI at your door. If cash-on-delivery orders from an account are repeatedly refused or not collected, we may turn off cash on delivery for that account.
  • Your bank, card issuer or UPI app may have its own terms and limits.

10. Orders and cancellations

We accept your order when the app shows it as Confirmed.

We may decline or cancel an order if a dish runs out, the kitchen can't take more orders, your address is outside our delivery area, the payment can't be confirmed, or we suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel, we refund everything you paid, including any tip.

You can cancel free while your order still shows Confirmed, before the kitchen starts preparing it. Once it's being prepared, it usually can't be cancelled, because it's cooked fresh for you. Our refund & cancellation policy explains how to cancel, what you get back and how quickly.

11. Delivery

We deliver to the address you choose in the app, usually in 25–40 minutes. That's an estimate, not a guarantee: weather, traffic and busy times can slow us down. Please set your address and map pin carefully, and keep your phone reachable until your food arrives.

Your order is delivered when it's handed to you, or left at your door if you chose Leave at door. Our delivery policy covers delivery areas, fees, tracking and what happens if your rider can't reach you.

12. Ratings and reviews

After delivery, you can rate your food with stars, pick what you liked, write a review if you want to, and give your rider a thumbs up or down.

  • Please rate only your own experience, and be honest. Reviews must follow our acceptable use rules.
  • You still own your review. By posting it, you give HBC a free, non-exclusive permission to store it and use it to improve our food and service, to count your stars in each dish's rating, and to show your rating and review in the app, on our website and in our marketing, with your first name only or with no name.
  • We may shorten a review to fit, but we won't change what it says. We don't remove reviews for being negative, and we never write or pay for fake reviews. We may remove a review that breaks these terms.
  • This permission ends when you ask us to delete your review, or delete your account. Stars already counted stay in a dish's average rating, without your name.

13. Acceptable use

To keep HBC safe and fair for everyone, please don't:

  • place fake orders, give a false address, or use HBC to harass anyone;
  • sign up with someone else's number, or with several numbers to collect offers;
  • abuse, threaten or harass our riders, kitchen or support team;
  • misuse coupons, cashback, refunds or bank disputes, or make false complaints;
  • post anything that is false, defamatory, obscene, hateful or harassing, invades someone's privacy, infringes someone's rights, impersonates anyone or breaks the law;
  • copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app, the website or our systems, or try to get at data that isn't yours;
  • use bots or other automated tools on HBC.

If you do, we may cancel orders, remove content, withhold offers, or suspend or close your account (see Suspension and closing your account).

14. Our name and content

The Healthy Bite Chef name and logo, the app, the website, and our recipes, menu descriptions, photos and designs belong to HBC or to those who have allowed us to use them. You may use them only to use HBC as these terms allow. Please don't copy, change or reuse them without our written permission.

Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, Google, Facebook and Google Play belong to their owners. We name them only to show how you can pay, sign in or get the app.

15. Our responsibility to you

We take care to cook safe, fresh food and deliver it as described. If we get something wrong, we'll put it right, as our refund policy explains.

We are not responsible for:

  • delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as heavy rain or flooding, severe weather, road closures, strikes, power or network failures, or government orders;
  • problems caused by a wrong address or map pin, a phone we couldn't reach, or an allergy you didn't tell us about;
  • failures of banks, UPI apps or networks we don't control, though we'll still help you get your money back;
  • losses that weren't a foreseeable result of our failure, such as lost income or business.

If an event outside our control stops us delivering your order, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Your consumer rights come first. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for illness or injury caused by unsafe food or by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Indian law doesn't allow us to limit. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected.

16. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close your account, or turn off offers or cash on delivery for it, if you break these terms, misuse HBC, or the law requires it. Where we can, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to explain.

If we close your account when you haven't broken these terms, we'll refund your unused top-up balance.

You can stop using HBC at any time, and ask us to delete your account on our Delete your account page. What we keep after deletion is explained in our privacy policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our service or the law changes. The new version will appear here, with a new date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Changes never affect orders you've already placed. If you keep using HBC after a change, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, you can stop using HBC and delete your account.

18. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are sorted out quickly (see Complaints and grievance officer).

Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms.

As a consumer, you can also contact the National Consumer Helpline (call 1915, or visit consumerhelpline.gov.in) or file a complaint with a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including where you live or work. Nothing in these terms takes away that right.
